I would highly recommend KOPD and their Labor and Delivery class. The class is taught by an instructor who genuinely cares about pregnant women, their partners, babies and and their experiences. The class had all the content I wanted as a first time parent and I was able to get all my questions answered in a safe and comfortable environment. My husband and I both walked out of the class feeling empowered and knowledgeable.

Kristen’s postpartum support has been wonderful. She helps me get the rest I need so I can enjoy every waking moment with my newborn. She is very detail-oriented, and always keeps helpful notes about my baby’s routine. I love waking up to a tidy home and a happy baby- it makes life with 4 small children so much easier. It’s a blessing to have a person I trust taking care of my home and baby.

Ingrid and Mary both provided great support through my pregnancy. It helped me feel calm to know I had someone to call who could be there for me, since we had recently moved and I didn’t have much of a local support system. Both doulas offered great support checking in through my pregnancy. When I gave birth to my son, Ingrid was a calm, down to earth presence. Since it was my first baby, I felt it was important having someone experienced help me and my husband through the whole birth. He was able to support me and she was able to help give him guidance. I feel like I still am processing the whole thing a year later, but one thing that helped was having a planned follow up visit a couple weeks later with the doulas to talk the birth over and answer questions. I have 100 percent no regrets about having a doula and encourage all my friends to consider hiring one! Also, I had a natural birth in a hospital and our OB said that Ingrid was a really great doula and was very impressed with her. Ingrid, if you see this, thank you so much!
