I knew very early on that I wanted a natural birth but was scared about my decision.
I didn’t know much about the work of a doula but the second I hung up the phone with Lacey Morgan after an hour long conversation, I knew this was the right thing to do.
She was amazing in every aspects and in every step of the way!
During pregnancy, she called a couple of time to check on me and chat about anything that was on my mind. We met twice at our house during which she prepared us for birth even better than the mandatory class from our birthing center.
She was present and supportive every second of our 5h labor experience.
She has provided so many helpful resources, offered her help, suggestions, advice…
Truly, I will never forget the birth of my son and will forever cherish that day thanks to Lacey! It would have been a much less happy memory if it wasn’t for her.
I didn’t like AT ALL the midwife on call that day.. but it didn’t matter because Lacey was there and because she prepared my husband so well, he did all the supportive work during labor (not delivery 😉 ). I tell all my friends to give her a call if they hesitate about working with a doula. She is very generous with her time and you will know quickly if she is the right fit for you.
I only have one regret: We didn’t take a picture with her and my son when he was born …

I was so blessed to work with Jenny throughout my pregnancy and birth! Though things did not go as planned, she was a calm and steady support for me through laboring at home and the transfer to the hospital as well! Even after birth she was ever present and reassuring. Doulas are the unsung heroes of birth support and Jenny was everything I didn’t know I needed through that process.

Hiring Laura as our postpartum doula was one of the best investments we’ve ever made. From day one she dove right in and helped us find a groove with our new twins and maintain our older son’s routine. Laura cared for the babies like they were her own and easily handled two at a time. She made sure we as parents were taking care of ourselves and helped me get organized. Her own experiences as a mom and caregiver were invaluable. Laura’s support allowed us enjoy the first few weeks and set us up for success for the months ahead.

Dee Litewka helped our family with overnight and daytime postpartum support. She is incredible with our firstborn daughter, Brie, and can seem to work magic on her; she is able to sooth and calm her effectively such that we all had great night sleeps in our early days home together. More importantly, Dee taught my husband and I ways to improve our own care taking skills for our daughter, leaving us much more confident in our own ability to help Brie to sleep. Additionally, as I struggled with my own anxieties postpartum, Dee made herself available as needed and offered counseling and support to me personally. I highly recommend working with Dee/KOP doulas for the postpartum transition.

Kristin Wills is an amazing resource for any new mom. I reached out to Kristin three weeks into my breastfeeding journey and she was able to help me out when I was ready to give up. She was so knowledgeable and gave me several options to find a solution that worked for me and my baby. I’m so appreciative of her help!
