amazing support and kindness
Kristin is a true saint. She was my sounding board for sanity and support throughout my breastfeeding journey with my twins and 3 years later with my singleton. She is knowledgeable and reassuring! Truly a gift to be able to have her in my life!
Kind, Supportive, Knowledgeable
Kristin was my rock that helped me establish, maintain, and grow my breastfeeding journey. Kristin was able to use her years of personal experience combined with her educational expertise to help me cultivate the breastfeeding relationship I was striving for with my son. Her advice “Never quit on your worst day” stuck with me and helped me push through the hard times to establish a beautiful bond and breastfeeding journey that was nothing short of incredible.
Relieved–Everyone remembers how you make them feel
It is true that you might not always remember exactly what a person does, but you will always remember how they made you feel. I don’t remember much from those first couple months of the newborn stage, but I absolutely remember feeling so utterly defeated, anxious, and frustrated. I had a low supply and an all day eater. Kristin was able to offer such support, love, and relevant information to help make breastfeeding possible. When you’re feeling everything but rational, she offered practical and logical solutions that was everything I needed.
When I transitioned back to school, she offered a pumping schedule that allowed me to make it to one year (even though my body HATED the pump). What was most important to me was she balanced my wavering desire to breastfeed with such respect. She had a practical and nonjudgmental approach that let me reach my goals with encouragement and no pushiness. FOREVER GRATEFUL!
A lifesaver!!!
I have nothing but amazing things to say about Kristin Wills! She took so much of her time to help me and ease my mind! Always available any time day or night! As a first time mom, I really couldn’t have done it without her!
Support during the pandemic
I would very much recommend the services of King of Prussia Doulas. I worked with Lacey and Jenny during my pregnancy. This was my second baby but I was really nervous after a rough labor with my first and there was still so much I could learn about the pregnancy, labor, and my body. They were both available by text, phone, or email whenever I needed them. They provided me with resources before and after the arrival of our daughter. I gave birth in April at the peak of the pandemic. They were both there to navigate my husband and I through the unknown and unsettling times. They also advocated for me with my hospital to allow a doula to be present at the hospital. Although my hospital and many others would not change their policies, Lacey and Jenny continued to be there for my husband and I. The day I went into labor Jenny was on call. Even though I didn’t spend as much time with Jenny beforehand, we instantly bonded that day. She was so calm, reassuring, and available to me. My plan was to labor at home as long as possible and with Jenny’s help I was able to do that. She gave me great suggestions and helped me get through the toughest of contractions. I worried that the Covid19 pandemic would negatively affect my birthing experience but with the support of KOP doulas it was much better than I could have ever expected. In fact, I wouldn’t change a thing.
