This team helped me to feel safe and able to make informed decisions about my own birth experience. Sara is gifted with extremely calming energy. She used a combination of verbal instructions, eye contact and maneuvering my body through the labor process to help me peacefully welcome my baby to the world. Her calming influence helped me to be present in the moment, focused on how precious and meaningful it is to give birth.

As a second-time mom, I initially thought I didn’t “need” a doula but I am so glad I had Vivi at my birth! I am confident that the experience wouldn’t have been nearly as positive without her there. She was supportive, knowledgeable and her presence made me feel so much more confident and at ease. My husband and I are extremely grateful to Vivi for her positive impact on the birth of our daughter!

I would highly recommend KOPD and their Labor and Delivery class. The class is taught by an instructor who genuinely cares about pregnant women, their partners, babies and and their experiences. The class had all the content I wanted as a first time parent and I was able to get all my questions answered in a safe and comfortable environment. My husband and I both walked out of the class feeling empowered and knowledgeable.

Kristen’s postpartum support has been wonderful. She helps me get the rest I need so I can enjoy every waking moment with my newborn. She is very detail-oriented, and always keeps helpful notes about my baby’s routine. I love waking up to a tidy home and a happy baby- it makes life with 4 small children so much easier. It’s a blessing to have a person I trust taking care of my home and baby.
