Ashli and Sarah were our incredible doula team. We felt incredibly supported every step of the way – prenatal, labor, and postpartum. My husband and I were so impressed with our doulas’ delicate balance of compassion, education, and commitment to our birth plan. They both provided support over the phone when we were (mostly me, the birthing mom) struggling with pregnancy and in the throes of labor. Sarah’s calm and direct communication over the phone while I was in the middle of excruciating contractions helped us reach one of our birth plan goals – to labor at home as long as possible before heading to the hospital to get an epidural. We are so thankful for the hands-on care that Ashli provided us during labor at the hospital! She advocated for us, helped me move into productive positions post-epidural, and calmed me and my husband’s nerves. My husband loved her instruction and being able to participate in the labor process! We cannot recommend the team enough, and are so happy that we decided to use KOP Doulas! Thanks to them, our baby arrived as swiftly and safely as possible.

The baby led weaning course was the first I had officially heard of the concept. It was great to understand the differences and how to fit it into our everyday life.

We would highly recommend taking this course! It provides some very useful, hands-on learning for how to administer CPR on babies, children, and adults. While we hope to never need to use it, the class definitely made us feel more prepared!

Sarah was amazing during my unmedicated birth, I don’t know if I could have made it without her! My husband and I attended all the classes and did so much prep work, but all of that flew out of our heads when we were really in it. Sarah was a calm, grounding presence and she gave me techniques that I feel made my labor progress more quickly! Plus, she was able to give my husband a break for him to run to the car for supplies and do what he needed to do. She made sure the hospital staff carried out my birth plan as closely as possible and answered any questions I had about the birth process. It was a huge relief to have the extra support and we are extremely grateful!
